Job summary

Ascend Staffing in Plano, TX is seeking a Bilingual On-Site Manager to be the primary contact for on-site employees while supporting recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, and daily staffing operations.

• At least 1 year of professional experience in customer service, recruiting, human resources, or a related field.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities.
• Ability to handle sensitive employee situations professionally and maintain confidentiality.
• Basic computer skills, including email, Microsoft Office, and data entry.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining effective communication with branch management and client supervisors.
• Willingness to work a flexible Monday-Friday schedule based on client needs.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, screen, interview, and onboard new employees to meet client staffing requirements.
• Coordinate employee assignments, orientations, and onboarding activities.
• Assist with hiring events, job fairs, and other recruiting initiatives.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for on-site employees, providing support and answering employment-related questions.
• Maintain regular communication with client supervisors and Ascend Staffing branch personnel regarding staffing needs and employee performance.
• Address employee performance concerns through coaching, counseling, and disciplinary discussions when necessary.
• Walk throughout the warehouse to check on employees, address concerns, and provide on-site workforce support.
• Assist with daily staffing operations, attendance tracking, and employee-related issues.
• Prepare, maintain, and submit accurate weekly reports.
• Help resolve employee and client concerns promptly and professionally.
• Support workforce planning and recruiting efforts to maintain appropriate staffing levels.
• Follow company policies, safety procedures, and applicable employment regulations.
