Job summary

CHR Community Health Resources, Inc. is seeking a Bilingual Recovery Support Worker for the HYPE Recovery program in Manchester, CT. The role is full-time, 40 hours per week, with a Monday-Friday schedule and a flexible 8am-8pm window.

You will provide recovery management, collaborate with licensed staff, and support families in person and remotely. The position requires bilingual Spanish skills, a valid driver’s license, and prior substance-use experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's preferred; HS with 4+ years of experience or AS/AA with 2+ years lived or professional experience.
• At least two years’ experience in a substance use setting preferred.
• Bilingual Spanish required.
• Valid driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

• Provides recovery management checkups and case management support in person, by phone, text, and in the community.
• Collaborates with therapists and clinical team to coordinate services and support recovery.
• Maintains family and collateral contacts to ensure client-centered care.
• Involves natural supports in treatment planning and discharge where possible.
• Documents all services and contacts per agency standards; records sessions as needed.
