LeoForce in Chicago, IL is seeking a Quality Assurance and Food Safety Supervisor - Bilingual Overnight to join our engineering-driven team. The role focuses on sanitation, QA, and regulatory compliance in food manufacturing, with a 10pm-6:30am shift.

Candidates should have 5+ years in QA/food safety, a Bachelor in Food Science, and bilingual proficiency. The position offers a competitive salary of $65,000-$75,000 plus benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years in quality assurance, food safety, and sanitation in the food manufacturing industry.
• Bilingual is a MUST.
• Expert knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and other food safety regulations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
• Certification in Food Safety, Quality Assurance, or a related field is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
• Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and professional development in the field of food safety and quality assurance.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain a robust Quality Assurance and Food Safety program to ensure compliance with all regulatory standards.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits of manufacturing processes to identify potential risks and ensure adherence to GMP.
• Implement and oversee HACCP plans to identify, control, and prevent potential food safety hazards.
• Lead and manage the sanitation team to ensure the highest level of cleanliness and hygiene in all areas of the manufacturing facility.
• Conduct training sessions for staff on food safety measures, quality control, and sanitation procedures.
• Investigate any quality or food safety incidents, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure food safety and quality standards are integrated into all aspects of the manufacturing process.
• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes related to food safety and quality assurance.
• Provide regular reports to management on the status of the Quality Assurance and Food Safety program.
