El Futuro is seeking a Project Manager for Substance Use Prevention in Durham, NC. This full‑time role (37.5 hrs/week) blends strategic leadership with community partnership work to advance Sin Ataduras initiatives across North Carolina.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree and 3+ years in project management, bilingual Spanish/English abilities, and experience managing grants, budgets, and multi-stakeholder efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Public Health, Psychology, Social Work, Sociology, Education, or related field.
• Minimum of three years of project management experience in health, behavioral health, or related setting.
• Experience managing grants, contracts, multi-stakeholder initiatives, and program implementation.
• Experience building community partnerships and engaging diverse stakeholders, especially Latino communities.

Responsabilités

• Lead statewide substance use prevention initiatives by engaging partners and expanding implementation.
• Oversee Sin Ataduras projects: grant deliverables, work plans, timelines, and reporting.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, accountability structures, and risk mitigation.
• Organize priorities, manage timelines, monitor performance, and ensure on-time deliverables within budget.
• Identify risks, develop solutions, and adapt strategies to maintain momentum.
• Oversee youth engagement and prevention activities with staff and stakeholders.
• Lead planning and evaluation activities: logic models, outcomes, focus groups, QA, and grants.
• Monitor project budgets with finance; forecast resources and expenditures.
• Maintain project documentation and outcome reports for decision-making.
• Identify partnerships and funding opportunities to expand statewide impact.
