Pasona Inc. is seeking a Japanese/English bilingual Project Logistics Manager to lead complex transportation projects involving heavy-lift and oversized cargo. The role emphasizes transportation planning, operational coordination, and strong client communication across global partners.

You will coordinate carriers and subcontractors, manage schedules and costs, and ensure on-time delivery while maintaining safety and regulatory compliance. Travel within the U.S. is expected as needed.

Formación

• Business-level proficiency in both Japanese and English (speaking, reading, writing).
• 5+ years in project logistics, freight forwarding, or international transportation.
• Experience with heavy-lift, oversized, or project cargo.
• Ability to coordinate carriers, subcontractors, customers, and internal stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel for meetings, site surveys, and project operations.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Responsabilidades

• Plan and coordinate domestic and international transportation projects involving heavy, oversized, and breakbulk cargo.
• Develop transportation plans, schedules, and service solutions based on customer requirements.
• Coordinate multimodal transportation with ocean carriers, heavy-haul providers, rigging companies, stevedores, and other logistics partners.
• Monitor shipment progress, resolve operational issues, and maintain clear communication throughout each project.
• Coordinate on-site project cargo operations and support safe loading, unloading, and cargo handling.
• Research, evaluate, and coordinate qualified subcontractors and transportation providers.
• Gather and analyze transportation costs and prepare project cargo quotations with internal teams and overseas offices.
• Identify operational risks and develop practical solutions to support safe and efficient execution.
• Serve as a key operational contact for domestic and international customers.
• Communicate in Japanese and English with customers, overseas offices, carriers, and subcontractors.
• Provide project updates, shipment reports, and timely responses to customer inquiries.
• Build strong customer relationships through reliable execution and responsive service.
• Support compliance with transportation, customs, and safety requirements.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and procedures.
• Collaborate with internal teams to improve service quality, efficiency, and project delivery.
• Support and mentor team members as needed.
