Job summary

International Leadership of Texas seeks a district leader to oversee the Spanish component of the Trilingual Program, including PK–5 50/50 DLI, PK–5 TBE, and 6–12 LOTE Spanish, with AP Spanish pathways. You will ensure a coherent PK–12 pathway toward bilingualism and biliteracy, aligning placement, proficiency assessments, and professional learning.

Collaborating with senior leaders and campus directors, you will guide language curriculum, staffing, and instructional supports, driving AP Spanish

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Education, Curriculum & Instruction, or a related field.
• Valid Texas educator certification; administrative certification preferred.
• Demonstrated advanced proficiency in Spanish and English.
• Experience leading PK–12 dual language, bilingual or immersion programs.
• Strong knowledge of ACTFL, biliteracy, and Spanish pedagogy.

Responsibilities

• Provide district leadership for DLI, TBE, and LOTE Spanish programs PK–12.
• Oversee language placement and proficiency assessment aligned to ACTFL standards.
• Collaborate with Directors of Reading Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies to support DLI and TBE.
• Lead professional learning, staffing decisions, and hiring support for language programs.
• Ensure coherent PK–12 pathways and AP Spanish outcomes across programs.
