Job summary

KIPP Texas is seeking an Assistant Principal of Student Support to lead multilingual program models within MTSS and ensure bilingual learner supports across the campus. You will coach teachers, monitor student progress, and partner with administrators to align instruction with both languages of instruction.

This role emphasizes data-driven interventions, family engagement, and a joyful, inclusive school culture while advancing emergent bilingual students toward college and career readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Texas Bilingual Teacher Certification required for primary.
• Texas ELAR and ESL Teacher Certification required for secondary.
• 2 years of teaching experience required.
• 1 year of teacher-leader experience with proven results.
• Experience serving historically underserved communities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Model and drive multilingual program model implementation with fidelity.
• Coach teachers on language instruction strategies with real-time feedback.
• Lead MTSS planning and monitor progress across tiers.
• Coordinate TELPAS coordination, testing and data-informed supports.
• Engage families and sustain restorative culture aligned with KIPP Texas values.
• Collaborate with APIs to deliver PD on content-based language instruction.
