Job summary

U.S. Spice Mills, Inc. is seeking a Production Supervisor for the 1st Shift on-site in Glendale Heights, IL. The role leads production associates in milling and packaging of spices and related products, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

You will oversee shift scheduling, train staff, monitor KPIs, and coordinate with maintenance, QA, and planning to meet production goals.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in food, beverage or other regulated manufacturing, including at least 2 years leading hourly teams.
• Clear written and verbal communication in English and Spanish required.
• Knowledge of GMPs, HACCP, allergen controls and sanitation.

Responsibilities

• Lead 1st Shift production associates to hit safety, quality and productivity targets.
• Train and certify associates on SOPs, equipment and food safety.
• Monitor line speeds, downtime, changeovers and space materials; coordinate with planning.
• Enforce GMPs, HACCP and sanitation; ensure clean and compliant production area.
