Job summary

U.S. Spice Mills, Inc. is hiring a bilingual (Spanish/English) Maintenance Mechanic Technician for the first shift in Glendale Heights, IL.

You will oversee installation, programming, repair, and preventive maintenance of processing machinery, packaging lines, and control systems to ensure continuous operation. Must have PLC knowledge, electrical troubleshooting, and experience with GMP/SQF food safety requirements.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in Spanish and English is required.

Responsibilities

• Industrial Controls, PLC Programming & Logic Mapping; read/modify PLC code and troubleshoot.
• I/O Mapping & Troubleshooting for sensors and actuators.
• HMI and parameter management for operation screens and recipe parameters.
• Automation hardware: PLCs, VFDs, safety relays, and industrial networks.
