Job summary

Accelera is seeking a dedicated 2nd Shift Production Supervisor for our Melrose Park, IL facility. You will oversee a team of about 20 staff, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient daily production while upholding quality standards.

You will mentor staff, optimize workflows, and drive continuous improvement in a high-volume food manufacturing environment on the 2nd shift (3:30 PM–12:30 AM, Mon–Thu).

Qualifications

• Experience leading 20+ staff in a food manufacturing setting.
• Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish is required for floor communications.
• U.S. Citizenship or a valid Green Card is required.
• 2nd shift schedule: 3:30 PM–12:30 AM, Monday through Thursday, with Fridays variable.

Responsibilities

• Direct and mentor a production team of about 20 people.
• Plan daily tasks to meet output, quality, and schedule goals.
• Allocate staff, delegate tasks, and manage priorities.
• Track metrics: labor efficiency, waste, downtime, and output.
• Maintain safety and GMP compliance across the shift.
• Collaborate with Sanitation, Maintenance, Warehouse, and Quality teams.
