Job summary

UNIS is hiring a Product Designer to own key areas of our web and mobile applications from Buena Park, CA. You will design new features and improve existing ones, collaborating with Product, Engineering, and Research. Strong design skills, product judgment, and the ability to work independently are essential.

AI tools should accelerate the process while you maintain final quality. The role requires bilingual Chinese and English, 3–5 years of experience, a strong portfolio, and extensive Figma

Qualifications

• Must be bilingual; Chinese & English.
• 3–5 years of experience in product design for web or mobile.
• A portfolio showing your process, decisions, and outcomes.
• Strong interaction and visual design skills with advanced Figma experience.
• Hands-on experience using AI tools in the design workflow.

Responsibilities

• Lead design for new features across web and mobile, creating user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and final UI designs.
• Own existing product areas and improve them over time by fixing usability issues and updating designs.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to define requirements and balance new work with improvements.
• Use customer feedback, usability testing, and analytics to guide design decisions and measure results.
• Use AI tools to speed up research, concepts, and prototyping, while refining outputs.
• Contribute to the design system and keep files, specs, and docs up to date.
• Support engineers during development, review builds before release, and present in design reviews.
