Job summary

UNIS is seeking a Product Designer to own key areas of our web and mobile applications. You will design new features and improve parts of the product used by customers and teams.

You will collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Research, and you will leverage AI tools to explore ideas while keeping the final quality in your hands. The role emphasizes independent ownership, strong design judgment, and the ability to communicate decisions clearly in a fast-paced, cross-functional team

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of experience in product design, including launching new features and improving existing web or mobile apps.
• A portfolio showing your process, decisions, and results.
• Strong interaction design, visual design, and accessibility skills, with advanced Figma experience.
• Hands-on experience using AI tools in your design workflow, with the judgment to know when the output needs more work.
• Experience working on cross-functional agile teams, with strong communication skills and the ability to explain your design decisions.
• Must be able to speak Chinese fluently.

Responsibilities

• Lead design for new features across web and mobile, creating user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and final UI designs.
• Own existing product areas and improve them by fixing usability issues and updating older designs.

Overview

UNIS is hiring a Product Designer to own key areas of our web and mobile applications. You will design new features and also be responsible for improving the parts of the product our customers and teams already use. You will work closely with Product, Engineering, and Research. We are looking for someone with strong design skills and good product judgment who can work independently and take full ownership of their areas. We expect our designers to use AI tools to work faster and explore more ideas, while the thinking, decisions, and final quality stay with you.

Preferred Requirements:

• Experience working on a design system.


• Experience updating older or legacy products.


• Experience in logistics, supply chain, or warehouse software, or with data-heavy, workflow-based applications.


• Basic knowledge of frontend development frameworks and templates.


• Experience using AI prototyping or code-based tools such as Figma Make, v0, or Cursor to test ideas quickly.
