Premier Pain Management seeks a reliable Procedure Room Assistant to support our clinic with clinical, administrative, and patient-care duties. The role requires multitasking in a fast-paced setting. Will train the right candidate.

Bilingual Spanish/English encouraged to apply, and cross-training across front office and patient care tech may be available. The position primarily serves the Fitchburg and Ayer offices in Massachusetts, with occasional travel to cover coverage needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Fluency in Spanish and English preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and assist during procedures.

Responsabilités

• Prepare the patient for procedures by positioning and privacy.
• Set up sterile fields, instruments, and equipment.
• Handle or assist with positioning medical instruments as directed.
• Ensure equipment is ready and functioning before use.
• Clean, sterilize, and maintain surgical instruments or tools.
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions or report issues to staff.
• Provide support and reassurance to patients before, during, and after procedures.
• Monitor cleanliness and disinfect surfaces and equipment.
• Ensure all equipment is properly sterilized before and after use.
• Prepare the procedure room for the next patient and keep it organized.
• Schedule patient appointments for follow-up or future procedures.
• Answer patient inquiries and educate on procedure details.
• Order medical supplies as needed and maintain stock.
• Handle post-procedure tasks as needed.
• Weekly cleaning of sterilization equipment.
• Cross-train in Front Office or Patient Care Tech tasks as needed.
