The Providence Center is seeking a bilingual Medical Assistant to join our team. In this clinical role you will support healthcare providers by performing vital signs, history taking, and basic procedures in a busy medical office.

Requirements include high school or GED, entry-level with Medical Assistant certificate preferred, and bilingual proficiency in English and another language (e.g., Spanish). Familiarity with EHR and strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• Entry Level position; Medical Assistant Certificate preferred.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and another language.
• Proven experience as Medical Assistant in a clinical setting.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology and procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities.
• Basic computer skills and experience with EHR systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures.
• Take and record vital signs, patient history, and other medical information.
• Prepare examination rooms and sterilize medical instruments.
• Schedule patient appointments and manage patient records.
• Provide patient education and instructions as directed by healthcare providers.
• Perform basic laboratory tests and handle specimens appropriately.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and guidelines.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and uphold ethical standards in healthcare delivery.
• Other duties as assigned.
