Job summary

The Family Doctors in Hunter's Creek, Orlando, seeks a bilingual Patient Care Coordinator to join our growing family medicine practice. This cross-trained role blends front-desk and medical assistant responsibilities with a real say in how we deliver preventive care.

You’ll own the patient visit from check-in to check-out, assist during visits, help patients stay up to date on screenings, and ensure accurate documentation in eClinicalWorks to credit the care provided.

Qualifications

• Bilingual Spanish/English required.
• Experience in a medical office as a receptionist or medical assistant preferred.
• Medical Assistant certification (CMA/RMA) preferred.
• Comfortable with an EHR system and detail-oriented documentation.

Responsibilities

• Own the patient visit from check-in to check-out: scheduling and insurance verification.
• Room patients, take vitals, and support physicians during visits.
• Help patients stay current on preventive screenings and chronic care visits by following gap-in-care reports.
• Keep documentation and coding accurate in eClinicalWorks.
