Job summary

Health Plus Management is seeking a Patient Care Coordinator to be the liaison between physicians and patients. You will welcome patients, deliver excellent service, and educate them on treatment plans and practice policies with compassion.

Responsibilities include scheduling visits, coordinating treatment plans, handling insurance questions with Billing, and maintaining accurate patient records. Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred to assist a diverse patient base.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of relevant medical experience.
• Knowledge of medical terminology & procedures.
• Knowledge of EMR systems.
• Strong computer skills including Word/Excel.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding patient service and educate patients on plans.
• Coordinate patient visits to ensure proper progress of treatment plans.
• Process medical insurance information and verify eligibility; liaise with Billing department.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and maintain patient confidentiality.
• Assist patients with completion of paperwork and back-up to team as needed.
