Job summary

The Family Doctors in Orlando, FL is seeking a Medical Assistant to provide clinical and administrative support to our providers, ensuring safe, efficient, and patient-centered care. Pre-visit preparation, rooming, vital signs, injections or testing per protocol, EMR documentation, and post-visit follow-ups help maintain smooth clinic operations and patient experiences.

Bilingual (English/Spanish), strong customer service, attention to detail, and HIPAA compliance are essential; certification

Qualifications

BLS Certification or CMA preferred.
Excellent customer service skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Bilingual English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

Pre-visit preparation: review schedules, stock rooms, prepare supplies and forms.
Rooming and visit support: verify patient identity, document vitals and history in EMR, prep for provider evaluation.
During visits: assist with exams and procedures, administer injections/testing per protocol, protect privacy and confidentiality.
Post-visit: reinforce instructions, initiate labs/referrals/follow-ups, complete documentation promptly.
Administrative follow-through: support referrals and prior authorizations, track tasks to completion.
Professional conduct: maintain reliability, punctuality, and HIPAA compliance.
