The Family Doctors in Hunter's Creek, Orlando, seeks a bilingual Patient Care Coordinator to join our growing family medicine practice. This cross-trained role blends front-desk and medical assistant responsibilities with a real say in how we deliver preventive care.

You’ll own the patient visit from check-in to check-out, assist during visits, help patients stay up to date on screenings, and ensure accurate documentation in eClinicalWorks to credit the care provided.

Qualifications

• Bilingual Spanish/English required.
• Experience in a medical office as a receptionist or medical assistant preferred.
• Medical Assistant certification (CMA/RMA) preferred.
• Comfortable with an EHR system and detail-oriented documentation.

Responsibilities

The Family Doctors, a growing family medicine practice in Hunter's Creek, is looking for a bilingual Patient Care Coordinator to join our team. This cross-trained role blends front-desk and medical assistant responsibilities with a real say in how we deliver preventive care — you'll be a key part of keeping our patients healthy and our practice performing well on quality measures.

What You’ll Do

• Own the patient visit from check-in to check-out: scheduling, insurance verification, and a warm bilingual front-desk experience.


• Room patients, take vitals, and support our physicians during visits.


• Help patients stay current on preventive screenings and chronic care visits (cancer screenings, diabetes care, blood pressure checks, wellness visits) by working from gap-in-care reports and reaching out directly.


• Keep documentation and coding accurate in eClinicalWorks so patients get credit for the care they receive.

What We’re Looking For

• Bilingual Spanish/English, required.


• Experience in a medical office as a receptionist, medical assistant, or similar — family medicine/primary care a plus.


• Medical Assistant certification (CMA/RMA) preferred, not required.


• Comfortable with an EHR system (eClinicalWorks experience a plus) and detail-oriented with documentation.


• A proactive, organized person who's comfortable juggling front-desk and clinical tasks in the same day.
