Job summary

Centro de la Familia is seeking a Preschool Teacher to foster a warm, inclusive classroom environment and implement age-appropriate curriculum aligned with Head Start standards. You will support dual-language learners and collaborate with families to ensure active participation in the child’s education.

Qualifications include 2 years in early childhood education (preferred) and an AAS/AA in ECE or related field.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of early childhood education experience (preferred).
• Associate degree in ECE or related field is required.
• Bilingual Spanish/English preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create a warm, welcoming classroom environment for preschoolers.
• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum aligned with Head Start standards.
• Incorporate play-based learning to build cognitive, social-emotional, and language skills.
• Support dual-language learners and adapt instruction for children with limited English.
• Maintain accurate records on attendance, assessments, and health/safety protocols.
