Centro de la Familia de Utah is seeking a Preschool Teacher Extraordinaire to spark young minds and nurture creativity within a Head Start-aligned program.

Guided by the Education Specialist, you will create a caring, inclusive classroom for preschoolers, support dual-language learners in English and Spanish, and collaborate closely with families throughout a 9-month position starting in February 2027.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in early childhood education.
• Associate degree (AAS/AA) in ECE or Child Development.
• CPR, First Aid, and Food Handler certifications within 6 months.
• Bilingual Spanish/English preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create inclusive, warm classroom environment for preschoolers.
• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum.
• Incorporate play-based learning and language development.
• Support dual-language learners (English/Spanish).
• Attend to daily care needs (lifting, feeding, toileting).
• Observe progress and tailor instruction with assessments.
• Collaborate with families and conduct parent conferences.
• Support children with special needs and inclusive practices.
• Maintain attendance, assessments, and safety records.
• Participate in professional development and teamwork.
