Cosco International Inc. in Marietta, GA is hiring a Bilingual Pre-weigh Technician (Spanish and English) to weigh, label, verify, and stage materials for cosmetic, OTC drug, and medical device manufacturing.

You will ensure accurate weighing, proper documentation, and GMP/ISO compliance while maintaining a clean, contamination-free environment. The role requires 1–3 years in a GMP environment, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and proficiency with ERP systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification in manufacturing, chemistry, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 1–3 years of experience in a manufacturing or GMP-regulated environment (cosmetics, OTC, or medical device industry preferred).
• Knowledge of GMP, ISO 22716, and FDA 21 CFR 210/211 manufacturing standards.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in weighing and documentation.
• Ability to read and interpret batch records and ERP pick lists.
• Basic computer skills, including familiarity with ERP or inventory management systems.
• Good organizational, communication, and teamwork abilities.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsabilités

• Weigh raw materials according to the Master Batch Record (MBR), BOM, and ERP pick list.
• Confirm correct material name, lot number, expiration date, and quantity.
• Accurately measure and dispense materials following SOPs.
• Label all pre-weighed containers with product name, lot number, batch or formula number, and signatures.
• Ensure double signature verification for each ingredient before transferring to compounding.
• Record material weights and lot numbers in the ERP system for batch tracking.
• Maintain paper and electronic records with full traceability.
• Follow GDP; include date and initials/signature in all entries.
• Review weigh tickets for accuracy before submission to the Weighing Lead.
• File and organize batch records and weigh tickets in GMP-compliant manner.
• Cross-check materials against BOM and batch sheet to ensure correct item and quantity.
• Verify materials released by QA and labeled with proper status tags before weighing.
• Maintain traceability of all materials from warehouse issuance to compounding transfer.
• Return unused materials with correct weights and lot numbers to warehouse.
• Participate in inventory counts and reconciliation tasks.
• Maintain a clean, organized, contamination-free weighing environment.
• Calibrate scales, utensils, and containers before use.
• Follow GMP and ISO 22716 standards in weighing and handling.
• Keep weighing areas clean from dust, spills, and clutter.
• Assist with 5S and Lean initiatives and cross-training.
