Job summary

Oscar Medical Group is seeking a bilingual physician to join the Virtual Health Assessment Team. You will deliver care remotely via phone and video and supervise Advanced Practice Providers, reporting to the Director of Virtual Health Assessment.

This full-time role requires state licensing in Oscar States and Spanish fluency. The position offers 5-day, 8-hour shifts between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM with potential travel for team meetings.

Qualifications

• Board-certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Fluency in Spanish determined by proctored assessment.
• 3+ years experience in an outpatient family or internal medicine practice.
• Licensed in a minimum of 2 core Oscar States (Must have TN License; and one of TX or FL).
• Active IMLCC or eligible to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct oversight and supervision of nurse practitioners and physician assistants within state-by-state regulations.
• Provide medical care virtually (by phone, video, & message) in alignment with Oscar Medical Group guidelines, practices and policies.
• Collaborate with MAs, RNs, and other providers across service lines.
• Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
• Other duties as assigned.
