Job summary

Oscar Health's Oscar Medical Group is seeking a bilingual physician to join the Virtual Health Assessment Team. You will deliver care to patients remotely via phone and video and supervise Advanced Practice Providers.

You will report to the Director of Virtual Health Assessment and work full-time from a home office, with shifts between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM. Spanish fluency and board certification in IM or FM are required.

Qualifications

• Board-certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Fluency in Spanish confirmed by assessment.
• 3+ years outpatient family or internal medicine experience.
• Licensed in at least 2 core Oscar States (Must have TN license) and one of TX or FL.
• Active IMLCC or eligible to apply.
• Willingness to license in additional states with company support.
• Experience with value-based care documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct oversight and supervision of nurse practitioners and physician assistants within state regulations.
• Provide medical care virtually by phone, video, and messaging.
• Collaborate with MAs, RNs and other providers across service lines.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Other duties as assigned.
