Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in New Brunswick, NJ. The role involves performing venipuncture and capillary blood collections for patients of all ages, travel to additional sites, and delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, 1 year+ phlebotomy experience or certified training, strong communication, and reliability. This position offers part-time hours 1:00pm-6:00pm, with benefits for eligible staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 1 year or more experience as a phlebotomist.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency.
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service.
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
• Reliable transportation.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
