Job summary

Labcorp seeks a Phlebotomist in North Plainfield, NJ. Schedule: Mon-Tue 8:30am-4pm; Thu-Fri 8:30am-4pm; Sat 8:30am-3:30pm. You will perform venipuncture collections, collect various specimens, log data, and support billing and customer service.

Minimum: high school diploma or GED, 1+ year phlebotomy experience, bilingual in English and Spanish. Certification preferred; travel to other sites may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 1 year or more experience as a phlebotomist.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
