Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Bilingual English/Spanish Phlebotomist to join our Adelphi, MD team. The role involves venipuncture, specimen collection for various tests, accurate data entry, and billing support. Strong customer service and teamwork are essential.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and phlebotomy certification or training, with 3+ months experience preferred. Travel to additional sites may be required; vaccination against COVID-19 is required where permitted.

Qualifications

• Bilingual English and Spanish required.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program.
• 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Other Duties as assigned.
