Job summary

Labcorp in Silver Spring, MD is seeking a Bilingual Spanish Phlebotomist to join our team. The role schedules Monday–Friday 9:00am to 4:30pm and Saturdays 9:00am to 2:00pm, with some flexibility and a 30-minute lunch break.

Responsibilities include phlebotomy for all ages, specimen handling, data entry, and providing excellent patient service. Minimum of high school diploma and a phlebotomy cert or training or 3+ months experience required; bilingual Spanish preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
