Labcorp in Washington, DC is seeking a bilingual English/Spanish Phlebotomist to join our team. The role involves blood collection, specimen handling, and patient service in a clinical setting.

The candidate should have a high school diploma or GED, phlebotomy certification or relevant training, and bilingual English/Spanish abilities. Schedule is Monday to Friday 2:00pm–6:30pm with potential Saturdays as assigned and a COVID-19 vaccination requirement where applicable.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.
• Bilingual English Spanish.

Aufgaben

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Other Duties as assigned.
