Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a bilingual English/Spanish Phlebotomist to join our Adelphi, MD team. You will perform blood collections, collect various specimens, and enter patient data accurately to support diagnostic testing.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, phlebotomy certification or training, and 3+ months of phlebotomy experience. Flexibility for overtime and travel to additional sites is preferred. Vaccination required where allowed by law.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent phlebotomy certification or training.
• 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.
• Bilingual English Spanish

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information accurately and promptly.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Other duties as assigned.
