Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join the team in Lancaster, CA. The role includes blood collection by venipuncture and capillary methods, data entry, and patient service at various sites. Multisite travel may be required to support patient care and specimen collection.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED and a valid California Phlebotomy License. Bilingual Spanish/English is preferred, with strong communication and customer service skills essential for success.

Qualifications

• Valid California phlebotomy license is required.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English is preferred.
• Proven track record of providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
