Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Pharmacy Assistant state registration within 60 days of hire (or active Pharmacy Intern License).
• Bilingual English/Spanish required at high level.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and direct inquiries to appropriate staff.
• Enter patient data and billing information in the system accurately.
• Deliver prescriptions to patients and collect payment and signature.
• Coordinate prescription counseling with Pharmacist.
• Monitor stock levels and place restocking orders.
• Verify orders and label items for shelves.
• Check expiration dates and manage returns to stock.
• Process prescription refills per regulations.
• Handle third-party billing forms and prior authorizations.
• Support clinical activities in line with regulatory requirements.

Education
