Legacy Community Health in Houston is hiring a Bilingual Pediatrics Medical Assistant to join a collaborative primary care team. You will assist with examinations, minor procedures, lab services, and patient education, delivering compassionate, culturally sensitive care to families.

The role emphasizes teamwork within a Medical Home model, with opportunities for growth through required training and hands-on clinical experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• BLS/CPR certification required.
• Up to one year of experience in a clinical setting.
• Bilingual English/Spanish required.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; EMR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interview patients to obtain medical information and vital signs.
• Record medical history and test results in medical records.
• Collect blood and other specimens; prepare them for testing.
• Assist physicians during examinations and procedures.
• Provide injections and suture removal as directed.
• Maintain clean, stocked exam rooms and equipment.
• Provide phone consultations regarding test results and health concerns.
