Job summary

Legacy Community Health is seeking a Bilingual Pediatric Medical Assistant to join our Fifth Lyons location in Houston. The role supports physicians during examinations, minor procedures, laboratories, and patient education while delivering compassionate, team-based care.

Candidates must be bilingual Spanish/English and possess a High school diploma with BLS/CPR certification. The position emphasizes respectful communication and culturally sensitive care within a busy primary care setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• BLS/CPR Certification required.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is required.

Responsibilities

• Interview patients to obtain medical information and record vital signs.
• Assist with examinations and minor office procedures.
• Support phlebotomy, specimen processing, injections, medications, and other diagnostic services.
• Maintain clean, stocked examination rooms and properly functioning equipment.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary primary care team.
• Provide patient education and ensure respectful, culturally sensitive care.
