Job summary

McKesson is seeking a Bilingual Patient Services Specialist for a fully remote role based in Canada. The position supports patients, providers, and payers by coordinating administrative and reimbursement activities, in English and French, across patient support programs.

You will ensure accurate documentation, expedite reimbursement decisions when possible, and deliver a professional patient experience while collaborating with healthcare stakeholders within program hours.

Qualifications

• Fluency in English and French (verbal and written).
• 3+ years in administrative, healthcare support, or call centre."
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with data entry and documenting patient information.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a bilingual point of contact for patients, insurers, and physician offices regarding reimbursement and patient support documentation.
• Collect, review, and submit completed reimbursement forms to private and/or provincial drug plans.
• Follow up with insurers to obtain coverage decisions and provide timely updates.
• Enter and maintain accurate case notes and documentation in patient databases.
• Escalate complex cases or issues outside program scope per established processes.
• Provide reimbursement status updates and program information to healthcare professionals.
• Support patient follow-ups to promote continuity of therapy.
• Answer calls, make outbound calls, and manage emails and fax correspondence.
• Document and report adverse events per program and regulatory requirements.
• Meet service levels and key performance indicators; participate in process improvements.
