Job summary

Family Health Centers of San Diego is seeking a Patient Service Representative, Call Center to handle referrals and schedule appointments across multiple sites. The role requires bilingual Spanish/English communication and prior call center experience.

You will document patient interactions, support translation needs, and ensure accurate data entry in our CMIS system. The position emphasizes patient-centered service, efficient issue resolution, and collaboration with clinical staff to coordinate

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• 2 years customer service experience required.
• Minimum 6 months experience working in a Call Center preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish/English required.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and/or medical front office procedures preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answer inbound telephone calls to assist patients needing information.
• Manage each call in a pleasant, professional manner and route to the appropriate area.
• Assist patients with scheduling, rescheduling, or canceling appointments and pre-registration items as needed.
• Accurately document outcomes and input information into the computer system CMIS.
• Provide translation services as needed and support other duties as assigned.
