Job summary

Signature Health Inc. seeks a Patient Services Representative to deliver welcoming, professional front-desk support, register patients, verify insurance in the EHR, and schedule appointments.

You will collect copays, maintain HIPAA-compliant records, and support office operations using EPIC and MS Office. The role favors candidates with English and Spanish communication skills, medical office experience, and knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid processes.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year office, customer service, or related experience required. Medical office experience preferred.
• Previous experience in a primary care or behavioral health setting preferred.
• Knowledge of insurance, specifically Medicare, Medicare Advantage, and Medicaid preferred.
• Experience working with an EHR system required; EPIC experience preferred.
• Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel.
• Fluency in English; Spanish language ability preferred.

Responsibilities

• Register patients accurately and verify insurance in the EHR.
• Schedule appointments and manage provider/clinician calendars.
• Answer phones, greet patients, and check in patients.
• Collect copays and other amounts owed; refer to financial assistance as needed.
• Maintain patient confidentiality in line with HIPAA requirements.
• Provide general administrative support (scanning, faxing, mailing).
• Demonstrate efficiency and multi-tasking to complete daily tasks.
