Urban Health Plan in The Bronx is hiring a bilingual Patient Service Representative (Spanish/English) to greet and register patients, verify information, and provide compassionate support. You will handle scheduling, phone inquiries, and patient concerns in a busy health center environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• One year of office experience with clerical duties.
• Bilingual Spanish/English required.
• Excellent communication and patient service skills.
• Good phone etiquette and office procedures.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients and registers them and family.
• Verifies insurance information through managed care systems.
• Answers incoming calls and takes messages for providers.
• Registers patients and updates demographics; assigns PCP when applicable.
• Schedules and reschedules appointments; maintains charts and provides admin support.
