Job summary

Qualifications

• One year of customer service experience.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.

• Good working knowledge of computers.
• Spanish/English bilingual preferred.

Responsibilities

• Register patients and obtain demographics accurately.
• Explain charges and pre-authorization requirements.
• Verify insurance information and eligibility.
• Schedule appointments and register patients for services.
• Maintain patient confidentiality per HIPAA.
• Post payments and reconcile cash handled.
• Provide excellent customer service and assist patients.
