Valley View Hospital in Glenwood Springs, CO seeks a qualified Customer Service Representative for our Patient Financial Services department. This full-time, day-shift role has no weekend work and prefers bilingual English/Spanish speakers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional college or business courses preferred
• Certified Patient Accounts Technician (CPAT) certificate preferred
• Two years of office experience required
• Admissions or billing background in healthcare preferred
• Insurance, banking or AR experience preferred
• Customer service experience required (retail, hotel, banking)
• Working knowledge of medical terminology highly preferred
• Typing 50 wpm required
• Bilingual English/Spanish highly preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications required
• Strong interpersonal, communication and listening skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Cannot sponsor visas for applicants

Responsabilités

• Assist patients with revenue cycle questions or issues using interpersonal and decision-making skills
• Handle calls not related to revenue cycle to resolve patient questions
• Communicate in a compassionate and professional manner with revenue cycle knowledge
