Job summary

FirstsourceSolutions USA, LLC is hiring an entry‑level Patient Financial Advocate to screen patients on-site at hospitals in Miami for eligibility assistance programs, including bedside referrals and ER support. The role focuses on guiding patients through insurance eligibility and payment options while reporting progress to client contacts.

You must be bilingual in English and Spanish, have a High School diploma, and be comfortable with basic computer tasks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years’ experience in medical coding, medical billing, eligibility (hospital or government) or other pertinent medical experience is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience preferred.
• Must have basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Screen hospital census to identify self‑pay patients for eligibility assistance.
• Initiate bedside or ER eligibility screenings and referrals.
• Explain enrollment processes to patients and enroll in appropriate programs.
• Document results and progress in onsite tracking tools and hospital system.
