Job summary

FirstsourceSolutions USA, LLC is seeking a FT Bilingual Patient Financial Advocate to screen hospital patients on-site for eligibility and to assist with enrollment in State, County, and Federal programs. Weekend shifts: Saturday and Sunday 9:15am–7:45pm in Memphis, TN.

The role requires strong customer service, basic computer skills, and prior medical billing or eligibility experience; bilingual abilities will support interactions with diverse patients.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years’ experience in medical coding, medical billing, eligibility or related medical field preferred.
• Previous customer service experience preferred.
• Must have basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Screen patients on-site for eligibility with State/County/Federal programs.
• Initiate the enrollment process bedside when possible.
• Document patient information in the in-house screening sheet and hospital system.
• Maintain communication with hospital staff and client contacts about progress.
• Travel to nearby sites for coverage as needed and perform home visits if required.
