Job summary

Firstsource Solutions USA, LLC is seeking a Patient Financial Advocate to screen patients on-site for eligibility assistance programs at a medical facility in Miami, Florida. The role involves identifying self-pay patients, initiating applications, and coordinating with hospital staff to ensure timely access to programs.

The position is onsite, Monday–Friday, 8:30 to 5:00, with pay ranging from $20 to $25 per hour.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years’ experience in medical coding, medical billing, eligibility (hospital or government) or related medical experience preferred.
• Previous customer service experience preferred.
• Must have basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Screen patients on-site to identify eligibility for State, County and/or Federal programs.
• Initiate the application process bedside when possible.
• Document patient information and screening results in hospital systems or tools.
• Coordinate with hospital staff and patient advocates to ensure follow-up.
