Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent customer service skills, including phone manners for patients and guests.
• 1-2 years experience in a healthcare environment.
• Proficient computer skills, data entry, and Windows proficiency.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to enhance patient and staff experience.
• Check patient eligibility and assist enrollment into programs as applicable.
• Confirm and update patient demographics and insurance information in EVCHC system.
• Process payments per Finance Department cash handling policy.
• Collect required information (ID, insurance card, Medi-Cal/Medicare, SSN) from patients.
• Assist patients with filling out forms and entering/scanning documents.
