Responsibilities

• Answer phones or greet patients face-to-face with professionalism.
• Schedule patient appointments according to administrator guidelines.
• Explain policies and procedures to patients and staff.
• Interview patients to obtain personal and financial information.
• Update patient demographics and insurance information; register new patients.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and coordinate transfers to the triage department.
• Complete basic patient assessments prior to transfers and assist as needed.
