Job summary

Excelsia Injury Care provides management services to a network of healthcare companies, supporting rehabilitation, diagnostic, surgical and pain management services for patients with post-traumatic injuries. The role requires Spanish language proficiency and involves assisting patients pre/post care, documenting progress, and maintaining clinical and reception areas at multiple Utah locations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Spanish is a must.
• Certification in CPR and/or First Aid. Must be maintained throughout employment
• 1-year experience in an office providing physical therapy and/or chiropractic care
• Tact and skill in patient management
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to effectively interact with doctors, patients, and co-workers

Responsibilities

• Assist patients pre and post care by the D.C.
• Take vital signs of patients
• Perform physical therapy modalities as directed by the D.C.
• Document modalities performed and subjective patient comments on progress notes
• Maintain cleanliness of exam and treatment rooms at all times
• Monitor controls on physical therapy equipment
• Launder towels, gowns, heat pack covers, etc.
• Maintain inventory and order supplies
• Assist in general office operations including filing, prepping charts, answering phones, patient registration, posting charges, scanning, cleaning
• Travel to other locations as directed for coverage
• Assist in maintaining orderly office environment
• If Floater Certified, travel to all locations within region for coverage
• Perform other duties as assigned
