Job summary

Hands of Hope Physical Therapy in Bronx, NY is seeking a compassionate Patient Care Coordinator (Spanish Speaker) to join our healthcare team. You will support patients throughout their care journey by coordinating appointments, communicating insurance information, and ensuring an exceptional patient experience.

In this full-time role, you will maintain patient records, assist with administrative tasks, and coordinate care between therapists, providers, and patients while upholding HIPAA

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Healthcare or Physical Therapy clinic experience preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance processes is a plus.
• HIPAA compliance knowledge is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and confirm patient appointments efficiently.
• Maintain accurate patient records.
• Communicate with patients via phone, email, and in person with professionalism and empathy.
• Coordinate care between therapists, providers, and patients.
• Maintain HIPAA confidentiality.
• Assist with documentation and administrative reporting as needed.
• Support front desk workflow and daily clinic operations.
