Sedgwick is seeking a Patient Care Coordinator with bilingual preferred to provide world-class customer service and manage referrals for medical goods and services. You will verify patient information, coordinate with vendors and adjusters, and ensure referrals are medically necessary and properly billed.

The role emphasizes strong communication, organization, and teamwork in a fast-paced healthcare setting with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two years of healthcare network or patient care scheduling experience.
• Ability to ensure referrals are medically necessary and billed correctly.

Responsibilities

• Reach out to patients for new or existing referrals and confirm demographics and delivery.
• Communicate with vendor partners, claims adjusters and nurse case managers with updates.
• Procure vendor partners for referrals as needed.
• Handle calls on referrals and related follow-ups.
• Provide quotes to clients for approval and secure written consent for referrals.
• Verify billing information and move referrals to billing daily.
• Process referrals in compliance with state regulations and workers' comp guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Support quality programs and travel as required.
