Job summary

Administration South is hiring a Patient Customer Service Representative for our Toppenish, WA billing team. You will handle patient billing inquiries, post encounters, bill insurers, and collect payments in a patient-centered environment.

You will work with Epic systems, perform data entry, update demographics, and coordinate with revenue cycle colleagues to ensure accurate, timely billing and high-quality service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1 year in healthcare billing or front office role required.
• Experience with Epic required.
• Bilingual English/Spanish required at level 9.
• Prefer 2+ years in revenue cycle or medical billing.
• CRCR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to patients by phone and in person to resolve questions and issues.
• Interpret patient concerns and ask questions to get to root cause.
• Post patient encounters, bill insurance, collect payments, and generate reports.
• Answer calls in a call center and manage all accounts using billing systems.
• Ensure accurate data collection from patients and update records.
• Update billing and demographics in online systems; document outcomes.
• Collaborate with revenue cycle team across functions.
• Reach out to set up payment arrangements and follow up on delinquencies.
• Assess guarantor finances to determine sliding fee eligibility.
• Review cash receipts and reconcile daily cash box.
• Identify compliance/quality issues and escalate as needed.
• Participate in education and cross-training activities.
