Remote Medical Inc. seeks a capable healthcare professional to manage access to local medical care and support the Global Coordination Centre (GCC) in securing swift, compassionate patient services.

The role involves liaising with facilities, translating between languages, and ensuring patients receive timely information and care. Applicants should have minimum 2 years of clinical experience, bilingual abilities, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a medical healthcare professional in the area of operation.
• Bilingual - local language & dialect (as per area of operation) and English.
• Experience providing patient advocacy in remote/international areas, preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and professionalism.
• Demonstrated self-discipline.
• Ability to integrate into a cross-cultural social structure.

Responsibilities

• Remain available throughout agreed hours of coverage for contact by the RMI GCC.
• Deploy to predefined medical facilities in area of operation to meet and greet RMI patients within 1 hour of GCC notification.
• Coordinate with GCC to ensure payment methods are agreed with the receiving facility; act as mediator when needed.
• Ensure swift access to care for RMI patients and resolve issues promptly.
• Provide translation from local dialect to English and relay to the GCC.
• Deploy to medical facilities daily during prolonged inpatient stays.
• Support patient welfare during admissions and ensure comfort and understanding of treatment.
• Establish relationships with treating physicians and obtain up-to-date information.
