Job summary

Remote Medical Inc. is seeking a dedicated field advocate to provide and manage access to local medical care in the Cranston area.

You will support the Global Coordination Centre (GCC) in securing timely payments to third party medical establishments and act as the RMI representative for patient needs and welfare. You will deploy to facilities within the operation area, translate between local dialects and English, and maintain professional liaison with physicians and care teams.

Qualifications

• 2+ years as a medical healthcare professional in the area of operation.
• Bilingual - local language & dialect and English.
• Experience providing patient advocacy in remote/international areas preferred.

Responsibilities

• Remain available during agreed hours for contact by the GCC.
• Deploy to predefined medical facilities within 1 hour of GCC notification.
• Mediate between medical facility and GCC regarding payment methods.
• Ensure swift access to care and resolve issues pragmatically.
• Provide translation from local dialect to English for the GCC.
• Deploy to medical facilities daily during lengthy inpatient stays.
